The Bank One application is a very simple Windows CE based scanning
application. It's intent is to provide a platform for promotional
giveaways at new bank's opening day activities across the country.
The units successfully
help promote the awareness and attendance at such
events. The AIS scanning application is used to scan
special barcode award certificates that have been
previously sent out to local perspective customers. As
they present these certificates, the AIS application
determines whether or not they represent a winner and
speak the appropriate status. For instance, "Congratulations!
You're a winner" or "Better luck next time." This
application used out in a field environment turned out to be extremely
robust and flexible while remaining low-cost. One interesting
aspect of this application was that we delivered it two weeks
after it was requested. |
